Roller Coaster ride

Well...  I was starting from my past and working my way up to the present and where I am with my diabetes but I am going to skip to the present...  What a ride...  I have been having some issues with my blood sugars in the past few weeks and made an appt Monday to be seen today...  My last appt we changes some times on doses and that really messed things up and I am HIGH all the time and chasing....  I did just switch to a new pump because my old one decided to have a sticky button and would randomly scroll on its own when I was correcting for my carb intake...  So we decided today it was time to go back to the basics and set one constant basal and bolus rate...  I know this is the right step because what I am doing now is not working at all...  I truly dislike this disease but what do you do?  It is a 24/7 job with no breaks and I am thankful for the wonderful staff at Saint Marys and for the support my family and friends give me.

My husband Brad is truly a gift from GOD...  From the first time meeting him and what he has done to learn about my diabetes is amazing.  I do not know what I would do without him.  Here is a man that slept on the hospital floor in Miami Florida while we were supposed to go on a cruise to get married and instead I got severely ill with my diabetes, we missed the cruise with all of our family and friends and he still married me in the Dade County hospital with iv's and a hospital gown.  Yup beautiful bride.  HA..  He is my hero, my life and my world.  Everytime I tell this story I want to cry and smile at the same time...  He is truly and amazing man.

So anyways, hopefully we will get some good test results and be back on track...  Till next time!!
